With six shopping days left until Christmas, that doesn't leave much time to get any last minute gifts you may need for the pet lovers on your list. It certainly eliminates ordering gifts online, but there's always the bookstore.

Here's a list of books you can't go wrong with:

Murder on the Prowl by Rita Mae Brown and Sneaky Pie Brown (Features a corgi, Tee Tucker, who assists Mrs. Murphy, a crime-solving cat. My sister gave me a book by this author featuring these characters because of my Murph and his best friend Tucker. )

Know someone with a bad dog? Or think they have a bad dog? These books may make them reconsider that position:

Marley & Me: Life and Love with the World's Worst Dog (I haven't read it, but everyone I know who has says this is a great book. It made them laugh and cry and in general fall in love with Marley.)

Bad Dog, Marley! (A kid's book based on the memoir mentioned above.)

Bad Dog: 278 Outspoken, Indecent, and Overdressed Dogs (I gave this to my sister because she needed a laugh and this book provided it.)
