Bronner's: A Good Place for Pet Ornaments

A couple months back, when the deluge of catalogs started assaulting my mailbox, I received one from Bronner's. Located in Frankenmuth, Michigan, they claim they're the world's largest Christmas store. If they are or not, I don't know, but they certainly have quite the collection of ornaments in their catalog.

Pet Ornaments

They have ones with messages like "Loving Friend/Loyal Companion" or "Pets Leave Pawprints on Your Heart!" that you can also personalize with your pet's name.

They have bone-shaped ones that can also be personalized, like the glass dog bone or the one with an attached dangling heart under the bone that reads "World's Best Dog."

If you're a fan of a certain breed, they have you covered there too. They have dog ornaments that are representations of various breeds, like dachshund, Shih Tzu, or Golden Retriever.

But they also have ball ornaments that say "I Love My [Pick Your Breed]" that you can personalize with your pet's name. Again, they have everything from beagle, to Bichon Frise, to Schnauzer.

And they don't leave the cats out. They have cute "Meow" and "Cat Stocking" ornaments that can be personalized with your cat's name. And they have a cool ball "Cat's Face" that comes in black, white, or gray. On one side is your pet's name, and on the other is the drawing of a cat's eyes, nose and whiskers.

My favorite is the "Dog and Cat Food Dish" ornaments. There's a bone in the middle of the dog dish, a fish in the middle of the cat's, and room for the pet's name above each.

Some other neat ones are their pets and family ornaments. You can get a single snowman with a cat or dog and put your name plus your pet's on it, or you can opt for the couple snowman with a dog or cat and make it a family affair.

Those are nice for people like me who are married without human kids but who consider their pets their children. I just wish they had one where you could choose more than one pet, and more than one species so we could get one ornament with both Wayne and I plus Murphy, Tabby and Mr. Meow on it.

It's too late to order anything personalized for this Christmas, but I'll keep them in mind for next. Going back through the catalog, I've spotted a plethora of gift-giving opportunities!
