Are Dogs Taking Over Hollywood?

Recently I've noticed something that I don't think I've ever seen happen before: an upsurge in the release of dog movies. I'm not exactly sure what's going on, but all of a sudden it seems like dogs are taking over Hollywood. Take a look at what I mean.

Not too long ago I finally got to see a movie I'd had in my Netflix queue for far too long: Wallace and Grommit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. In case you're not familiar with the clay-mation duo, Wallace is a man and Grommit is his dog.
