Clueless Nights (or, Clueless in Portland)by Aimee Amodio18 May 2008 07:40 AMI often joke that my dog Moose is the world's dumbest German shepherd. The breed is known for being pretty smart, but Moose doesn't seem to have gotten much in the brain department. A Dog's Social Life (or Lack Thereof)by Aimee Amodio13 May 2008 10:23 AMI read an article recently in Prevention magazine about how dogs need friends. Not just human friends, but dog friends, too! You may have seen it before: your dog has a special canine buddy. They get SO excited to see them! They act differently (in a good way) around them. My Mother's Dayby Aimee Amodio12 May 2008 11:24 AMSome very good friends of mine did a VERY cute thing for me yesterday in honor of Mother's Day. They went shopping on behalf of my fur-babies, Moose and Lally. My dogs (and my friends) know me well. I got two types of chocolate candy and some cocoa powder for when I make smoothies. Help Me Entertain My Dogs!by Aimee Amodio17 Apr 2008 07:40 AMHard to believe that it's been almost a year since I took my dogs on a cross-country road trip and resettled on the west coast. Time sure flies! A lot has happened in that year, too (and poor Moose was at the center of a lot of the adventures). The Pick-Up Policeby Aimee Amodio03 Apr 2008 06:14 AMSometimes, I feel like I'm the only person in my apartment complex who bothers to pick up after my dogs. Straying from the paved paths is like walking through a field of doggy doo landmines. Moose's New Supplementby Aimee Amodio14 Mar 2008 05:18 PMYou might have noticed that I've spent a lot of time thinking about... worrying about... and researching things that could help my Moose deal with the discomfort of hip dysplasia. Sadieby Aimee Amodio28 Feb 2008 08:30 PMIt was a gorgeous sunny day yesterday, and I decided to take my dogs to the nearest dog park. We have a great dog park here in Wilsonville, Oregon -- it's a gigantic fenced in area, shielded from view by a line of trees (so the dogs aren't seeing cars/walkers/kids playing soccer/etc). Budly in Beagle's Clothingby Courtney Mroch07 Feb 2008 11:01 AMTwo times so far this week I've seen Winky (whose name is now Ruby). The first time was Monday afternoon when her owner was taking her for a walk. The second time was at six thirty this morning when I was taking Murph for his walk. Foofy's Big Adventureby Aimee Amodio16 Jan 2008 05:21 PMA few nights ago, my aunt and uncle found a miniature poodle wandering through their backyard. The little black dog came running right up to them when they called, and was wearing a collar and ID tags. My uncle tried the phone number on the tags, but there was no answer.
