What to Do If Your Dog Eats Chocolate

Last week I took my cat to the vet for his routine yearly checkup. I thought I might find some inspiration for an article from the trip. I did, but it turns out it’s not about my cat at all. While I was gone with my cat, I forgot to close the door to the pantry. To make a long story short, although we put several safeguards in place to prevent something like this from happening, the dog still got into some chocolate. She’s doing fine, but I thought I would share what we did, and the information we learned … Continue reading

Boy Gets Revenge on “Bad Dad”

Subtitle: Pi*sing off kids comes with consequences. Here’s a story that may make you think twice about the way you treat your kids: UK resident William Ireland has so much disdain for his father that even when the elderly man died he couldn’t bury his hatred. There are probably lots of meals that would be nutritious and delicious for both pups and people. Dogs need foods from many of the same food groups humans do: Meats/proteins like ground beef, turkey, or chicken. Fruits … Continue reading

Actress Kathleen Turner has come out and said Nicolas Cage was difficult…at least he was 21 years ago. Kathleen has just written her autobiography Send Yourself Roses and in it, she says Nicolas was a real diva when the two filmed Peggy Sue Got Married in 1986. The film was directed by Nicolas’ real life uncle, Francis Ford Coppola. In case you didn’t know, Nicolas’ birth name was Nicholas Kim Coppola. He changed his last name to Cage so he wouldn’t get any special treatment for being a Coppola. He took the last name of Cage after comic book character … Continue reading
