For many people, Facebook has become increasing more volatile as the 2012 Presidential Election progressed. Some of my relatives posted, (or, I should say, reposted), images with words on them that were of a political nature and that contained information that was not factual. My relatives who chose to broadcast their political views this way were not … Continue reading

Wash Those Hands and Paws: More Salmonella Found in Dog Food

I can’t believe I have to take to my keyboard again so soon on this issue, but here I am. More Salmonella-related recalls have been issued for dog food, and once again they’re from parent company Diamond Pet Foods. This is all just getting so confusing and ridiculous. The problem is that several brands with different names are all manufactured at the same plant, so it’s hard to keep track of what’s safe and what might be infected. Eleven different brands of pet food are all under a voluntary recall for potential Salmonella contamination. They are: Chicken Soup for the … Continue reading

The key to keeping on task is to avoid getting overwhelmed by your project. Often, I procrastinate when crafting page designs because of the time commitment. Fortunately, there are ways you can create an eye-catching layout without having to pull several all-nighters. For example, if journaling … Continue reading
