Shopping the Sales: Cool Christmas Clearance for Cats

I told you about some cool Christmas clearance for dogs, so naturally I have to include feline finds next.

Ready to start shopping? Good, because here we go:

Bedding:

This bed is just too cute. Doctors Foster and Smith have a Kitty Royale Bed in the shape of a jester's hat. Bells on the tips of the points might distract Kitty from sleeping, though, as the bed can serve double duty as a toy. They've got it on sale at 40% off. Regularly $29.99, now $17.99. (They had a crown bed, too, but it's sold out. I'm not surprised. These beds are really cute!)

Another nook your cat might relish curling up and taking a cat nap in is the Vo-Toys Mushroom Plush Cat House. The regularly priced $60 hut in the shape of a toadstool is on sale at Amazon.com for $19.89, making it a steal you and Kitty will both treasure at 67% off.

Looking for something a little less expensive and extravagant for your cat to nap on? The Quiet Time Pet Bed for Dogs and Cats might better suit you. Currently 40% off, taking it from $10.99 down to $6.59.

Toys:

This next one might also qualify as a bed in your cat's mind. The Jungle Cat Cave regularly runs $48.72, but Amazon.com's got it for $21.44, or 44% off. Kitty can curl up inside the cave and swat away at the dangling toy hanging from the entrance.

I've never had my own cat test this next product, but it caught my eye because it's on sale for 45% off, putting it at under $2. It's called a Cat Dancer and the maker's claim "It's not a mouse, it's not fuzzy - it's a piece of spring wire with tightly rolled paper strips at the end, and it drives cats nuts!" Hmmm ... Mr. Meow might be getting a bonus present from me....

Got a scratcher in your midst? The Swiss Mountain Scratcher from Doctors Foster and Smith provides a fun way for Kitty to sharpen her claws. Best yet, it's on sale for 20% off, taking it to under $10 at $8.79.

My husband doesn't know it yet, but our cat is definitely getting this next deal. (Well, it's not that much of a deal at only 12% off, but Mr. Meow loves playing in cardboard boxes and I love the novelty of the design.) It's the City Place Corrugated Cat Playhouse for $21.99 (regularly $24.99).
